Basket of Recognition
Here are some of our STAR Fruits who have been recognized for their achievements in the past!
Pedy Louie Pascual
Pedy joined our club during Week 1 and to our amazement, already started to help us table to others at the involvement fair the next week! From the get go, he was super active, going to events like Autumn in the Park, our 24-Hour Service Marathon, and several of our board meetings. He really helped us out last week by volunteering to chair our Thanksgiving Potluck Social. Congrats Future Astronaut!
From the start of the quarter, Zoe has been super involved, both within her family and going to service events. She took charge and chaired one of our weekend service events. To quote one of her fam heads, "Zoe's presence is always a mood lifter and she's a joy to be around!" Congrats Uke Queen!
For our first month of our fall quarter, this new member has been super active since week one. She went to the Dixon Corn Maze social, a bunch of our weekly events (like chow night), stayed for most of the day at our Fall Service Marathon, and is participating in our big little program. Sam is super nice and a great joy to talk to and be around. She also came in clutch by signing up last minute to go to Fall Training Conference!
Naomi is a new member this quarter. She really stood out to her Huskiwis family, going to her family socials. She went to many of our weekly service events and even went to our spring service marathon. She also was one of the few that braved the heat and volunteered at the sustainable horticulture event. Thank you for your dedication to CKI!
Tommy is one of our new members this quarter. He has been super active, going out to weekly service events and going out to his family socials. He was a big help to his family during family comp week, and even was recognized for it. Congrats once again to Tommy Le for all his hard work this month!
Megan has been CKI-till-I-die ever since the beginning, but she stood out this month by going to Go West where she exhibited our three tenets, service, leadership, and fellowship, and even offered her home to house the rest of our Davis members who traveled south. Thank you for your dedication to our humble organization, Megan!
Ever since Welcome Week, Sarah has already shown so much enthusiasm towards our club. She consistently comes out to service and social events, and even offers rides to our members, even though she commutes to campus. Not to mention, as a new member Sarah went to her first district event, CKI North, and FTC!
